(4a³ + 7a²b + 6b³) + (a³ + 2a²b + 4b³)

Get rid of the parenthesis.

4a³ + 7a²b + 6b³ + a³ + 2a²b + 4b²

Add like terms.

(4a³ + a³) + (7a²b + 2a²b) + (6b² + 4b²)

Simplify.

5a³ + 9a²b + 10b²
