Fulminant Clostridioides difficile infection definition:
a) Development of severe diarrhea and colitis within 48 hours of starting antibiotics
b) Development of pseudomembranous colitis following a recent gastrointestinal procedure
c) Rapid onset of colitis leading to toxic megacolon and systemic toxicity
d) Recurrence of C. difficile infection within 30 days of completing treatment
